The 1986 State Champion Wilson Wildcats Return To Hardwood

By Matt Schuler (Hacienda Heights)-The Wilson Wildcats 1986 State Championship basketball team returned to Wilson this past Saturday night to play the program’s current edition and fell 54-51. The 25th Anniversary Alumni game served as a fundraiser for the school and a reunion of a community of family, teammates, and friends.

First week of league games are all under the belt. Big Saturday ended being all it was “hyped” up to be with Bonita and Bishop Amat separated by two points at the end. Lancers by virtue of its win will be the new #1 team.

By Corey Kwok (Pasadena) – Pasadena, tied at 13 after one, was hit by a 16-0 Muir run the second quarter that left the Bulldogs in a big hole. Unfazed, the Dogs battled back and eventually subdued the Mustangs 54-51 Friday night in Pacific League action at Muir High.

Vikings Roll Rosemead

(Rosemead) – Mountain View jumped out to a 12-2 lead to open the game and never looked back in a 50-34 road win over Rosemead Friday night in a Mission Valley League contest.

McNally Leads Knights to Victory

(Pasadena) – L.A. Baptist’s defense came up big in the second quarter to lead the way to a 55-49 Olympic League win over host Maranatha.
