The Heralds dropped their third straight game as the Mustangs stampeded to their third straight win Friday night at Whittier College.
Salesian was led, as always, by Jihad Vercher. The quarterback ran for three scores and passed for a fourth as the Mustangs offensive exploded after the first quarter to take control of the game.
Ryan Esslinger threw for 216 yards on 28 completions in the loss, he also threw one interception, Noah Evans led the receivers with 15 catches for 108 yards, while Cody Bronkar caught five passes for 58 yards and two scores for the losing cause.
