(Covina)- Northview quarterback Peter Vandereb completed 12 of 18 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns as the Vikings blasted visiting Ontario 40-0 on Thursday night at Covina District Field.

Daniel Valencia (4 catches 66 yards) caught both of the touchdown passes, both in the first half. Northview was prolific on the ground. Christeon Blackmon rushed for a 100 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown. Bryan Salinas scored on a 45-yard run, Damian Lavin added the third.

***Northview recorded three sacks…Two by defensive end Jarron Reed.

***Northview’s Christeon Blackmon’s touchdown came in the third quarter on a 36-yard run.

***The Vikings first touchdown came on a 32-yard pass from Vandereb to Valencia in the first quarter. N-View was in a third and nine situation.

***Northview plays Gladstone next Thursday night at Citrus College.
