4.  On this day in 1984 Los Angeles Ram Eric Dickerson rushes for 215-yards to set a season record of 2003 yards.  He finished the season with a still record 2105 yards.

5.  Temple City at Northview basketball tonight at 6:30.

6.  Former Chicago Bear linebacker Dick Butkus turns 71 today.

7.  Drew Brees eclipsed the 50,000 yards passing mark in Sunday’s win over the Panthers. It was a record as Brees reached the mark faster than any other quarterback.

8.  UCLA gets a trip to El Paso and the Sun Bowl to take on Virgina Tech.

9.  USC will face Fresno State in the Las Vegas Bowl.
