Sierra Canyon remains perched solid at the top. Bell Gardens takes a tumble as does Covina and Viewpoint. League play begins for some this week so the pressure ratchets up.
1. Sierra Canyon (4-0 0-0) – The Trailblazers took care of Viewpoint with quick dispatch to remain at the top of the Mid Valley Top Ten
2. Montebello (4-0, 0-0) – The Oilers remain unbeaten but weren’t tested by Azusa. This week on the other hand…Paraclete in the Antelope Valley!
3. Northview (3-1, 0-0) – The Vikings encountered little resistance from Walnut but are looking better each week.
4. Bell Gardens (3-1, -0) – The Lancers tumble a couple spots with the loss the Charter Oak. A better showing against Claremont is needed and expected.
5. San Dimas (2-1, 0-0) – The Saints got back on track with a complete thrashing of Rosemead. Bonita is next for the Smudgepot.
6. Paraclete (1-3, 0-0) – Burroughs Ridgecrest was what the Spirits needed to get in to the win column and will look to get on a roll hosting Montebello.
7. Pomona (2-2, 0-0) – The Red Devils have struggled against tougher competition but should get back to their winning ways against Montclair.
8. Covina (1-2, 0-0) – A not so great showing against a rebuilding Baldwin Park does not bode well for the Colts.
9. Arroyo (2-2, 0-0) – Pantoja (4 td passes) and the Knights got in some good work and did what they needed to do against Rowland.
10. Viewpoint (2-2, 0-0) – The Patriots are hanging on for dear life to remain in the top ten. They’ll need an overwhelming performance against La Puente this week.
