Oliva has change of heart. (Updated)

Jude Oliva who was recently named the Offensive Coordinator Temple City has had a change of heart and will return to the San Gabriel Matador sidelines as Offensive Coordinator for the 2009 season.  Further details to come.

“I did have a change of heart,” said Oliva. “and decided to go back to San Gabriel. I had a tough desicion to make, however the main thing that got me back was my love and unbreakable bond I have for the players, students, faculty and community at San Gabriel High School. I bleed SG (Blue and Red) and at the end of the day I went with my heart and I feel it was a great choice.

“I know Anthony White is going to do great things at Temple City because what he stands for as a coach and human being.  We will still continue to be great friends and there was nothing but love between us.  He understood when I told him my decision and we are all good.  I would like to let the people of Temple City know my desicion had nothing to do with them. I know that the fans, players and people of the district are great people because I worked there and know that through experience.  I wish Temple City nothing but the best for the future.”
