@Mid-Term Variant. Stop. Just stop. I’m with you: American politicians are persuading the rest of the world to hype the non-existent COVID just to prevent you from the thrill you get from watching teenagers play a game. It’s all a conspiracy, I get it. I hear that chatter too on the internet and from my friend who knows a nurse who works with a doctor that has admitted to falsify COVID numbers because, well, the health industry is totally in on the conspiracy to undermine America by cancelling high school football. IN fact, I heard that the 1/6 riot was really antifa disguised as Trump supporters and weren’t going after Pence, but the secret charter written by George Washington that declares that football is the nation’s game, and if the game is lost, than America is over. And like you, I hate democracy, fairness, and equity, as they are the TRUE enemies of high school football.

I’m hearing a lot of chatter about rising Covid cases, and the probable resumption of indoor masking. This is predictable, based on the political desire to keep the mail-in ballot hustle alive for the mid-terms. I couldn’t care less about which smiling grifters get the nod, but I’ll be steamed if this charade causes a needless interruption of the football season. My statement to the politicians is: stop letting YOUR games ruin OUR games .
