  1. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders 30-29 on Monday Night Football. 
  2. Yordan Alvarez hit a three-run walk off home run to give the Houston Astros an 8-7 win over the Seattle Mariners Tuesday in Game 1 of the AL Division Series. 
  3. New York Yankees beat the Cleveland Guardians 4-1 in Game 1 of the AL Division Series. 
  4. Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres 5-3 in Game 1 of the NL Division Series.
  5. The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 7-6 in Game 1 of the NL Division Series. 
  6. Raiders’ receiver Davante Adams pushed down a photographer at the conclusion of the loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. Adams could face possible discipline from the NFL. 
  7. The Carolina Panthers fired head coach Matt Ruhle Monday after the 1-4 start. Ruhle was in the third year of a seven-year deal. 
  8. Northview shortstop Dean Curley has committed to Tennessee. 
  9. The Lakers signed former Pasadena star/ UNLV guard Bryce Hamilton. 
  10. “My hope is the competition committee takes a look at this in the next set of meetings and you know, we take the dresses off.” – ESPN broadcaster Troy Aikman on Monday Night Football after a roughing the passer penalty on the Chiefs’ Chris Jones for a sack on Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr.
