  1. Rickie Fowler and Xander Schaufflele both shot 62, a U.S Open record, Thursday in the first round at the Los Angeles Country Club. 
  2. UFC star Conor McGregor has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman during an NBA Finals game last week in Miami. 
  3. The Tampa Bay Rays became the first team to 50 wins this season with a 4-3 win over the Oakland A’s on Thursday. 
  4. The A’s have the worst record in baseball with a record of 19-62. 
  5. The Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 5-4 in 11 innings at Dodger Stadium Thursday night to win two out of three in the series. Dodgers are now 39-30 on the season.  
  6. The Denver Nuggets celebrated their first NBA title with a parade through downtown Denver Thursday. 
  7. The Oakland A’s fans pushed back on the team moving to Las Vegas as they staged a reverse boycott Tuesday night intending to fill the Oakland Coliseum. 27,759 fans showed up with chants of “Sell the Team!” reverberating throughout the Stadium. 
  8. Free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins visited with the New England Patriots on Thursday. 
  9. The Rams restructured receiver Cooper Kupp’s contract to create $10.44 million in cap space.
  10. On this date in 1975 the Lakers acquired Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Walt Wesley from the Milwaukee Bucks for Elmore Smith, Brian Winters, Junior Bridgeman and David Meyers.
