Definitely was a better LB, but he wanted to contribute on offense, every other year he was a monster at LB. Always hard to replace a stud like that, no doubt.

we definitely breed-’em at ER, we have been blessed… Amat starting RB this year would have been really nice if he stayed local and played for his home school.

I thought he was better linebacker than RB ….. held defense together in the game I got to see. They might have hard time replacing him on that side of the ball.

There is always a few teams who are world champions of 7 on 7 then the pads come on they can’t block anyone and go 3-7.

Little known fact, the kid who played RB last season had never played RB before, he was just a stud filling a void, ER actually returns more kids including key linemen than it has in about 5 years. Let’s see if The Ranch can surprise everyone once again.

I remember a few years ago Cal high had a great 7/7 season winning some and making finals in others. That optimism resulted in a less than stellar season. Like Bruce Lee said, “boards don’t hit back”.

@ sgv finest historically the last problem El rancho will have is finding a tough hard nose running back. They breed-’em at ER.

I won’t make any bold predictions, the teams will do the talking with pads. Looking forward to it!

2 Tds is a pretty wild statement considering that el rancho was back and forth with Lugo last year for the 1st half of the game. Consider el rancho lost several key players including their star RB I think Lugo has the advantage. Let’s revisit this after week 0

WE JUST HERE TO NOT GET FINED
game one will give both teams a sense of direction, should be pretty equally matched so I expect a defensive game with alot of mistakes as these kids take the dust off them pads

El rancho will be a true test for Don Lugo. I’m rolling with el rancho by 2 td’s. If this game were week 3 or 4 I’d have it closer.

Easy preseason campaign but it’s not 7 on 7 anymore…….8-2 or 7-3 is a good call Claremont will be tough for them too

    El Rancho- W
    Los Osos- W
    Hawthorne- W
    Chino- W
    Filmore- W
    San Dimas- L
    South Hills-W
    Chaffey -W
    West Covina- L
    Claremont- W
I’m being pessimistic with an 8-2 record assuming West Co and SD can make the game ugly enough for o win. Won’t be shocked if their 10-0
