  1. San Diego St. head football coach Brady Hoke announced he will retire at the end of this season. 
  2. Mississippi St. head football coach Zach Arnett was fired after just one season. 
  3. The Buffalo Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey after a 22-21 loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. 
  4. When Locke head football coach John Lockmore stepped down on November 11 it already marked the 20th change of high school head football coaches in Southern California since the regular season ended.   
  5. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch’s season is over after a neck injury and his career may also be in jeopardy. 
  6. UCLA at USC, Saturday 12:30 p.m. LA Memorial Coliseum, ABC. 
  7. Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll was named NL Rookie of the Year and Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson was named AL Rookie of the Year. 
  8. Skip Schumaker of the Miami Marlins was named NL Manager of the Year and Brandon Hyde of the Baltimore Orioles was named AL Manager of the Year. 
  9. College Football Playoff Rankings -Top 5: 1. Georgia 2. Ohio St. 3. Michigan 4. Florida St. 5. Washington.   
  10. San Diego Padres Chairman and Owner Peter Seidler passed away Tuesday at the age of 63.

    Nothing will stoke the anger felt toward wonder boy Lincoln Riley more than a loss to UCLA this weekend. The Trojans need a big win against the hated Bruins and a big recruiting haul to keep the alums at bay.
