  1. The Dodgers beat the New York Mets 9-0 Sunday night in Game 1 of the NLCS. 
  2. #1 Texas routed Oklahoma 34-3 in the Red River Rivalry Saturday. 
  3. The Chargers beat the Denver Broncos 23-16 Sunday to improve to 3-2 on the season.
  4. AP College Football Top 5: 1. Texas 2. Oregon 3. Penn St. 4. Ohio St. 5. Georgia. 
  5. Army (6-0) and Navy (5-0) are in the Top 25 at the same time for the first time since 1960. 
  6. #2 Oregon beat #4 Ohio St. 32-31 Saturday. 
  7. ALCS: Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees. Game 1 is Monday night at Yankee Stadium. 
  8. Northview (7-0) has outscored its opponents 268-47 this season with three shutouts. 
  9. Baldwin Park, which started the season 0-3, has now won four straight to improve to 4-3.
  10. La Canada (7-0) has outscored its opponents 235-65 this season and also has three shutouts.
