Bailey with averages of 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 30 games.
This is “standout”?
From T. Peterson: Uh yeah. He was drafted in the 2nd round of the NBA draft by the Charlotte Hornets…after his freshman year. That would be the definition of a standout.
#7. I would bet that more kids from Burbank leave. That commute has got to be taking its toll on the kids.
9) Just last week there was discussion about how just getting a head coaching job opens doors down the road , no matter what the outcome in previous job . This principle is exemplified clearly here .
Rosemead took a nosedive in Slayton ‘s four years there . They are now lower rung SGV and have been passsd by Gab . If they could have maintained the level Coach Castaneda had achieved before leaving, they would have multiple MVL titles ; instead they plummeted to bottom of league .
The highlight , I guess , was somehow qualifying as at large with losing record and getting D14 home game vs team from middle of the desert (Yermo) that has 300 students and managing a victory.
The lower lights included multiple forfeiture do to ineligible players, and the brawl which ended 2024 season early . It will take Rosemead years to recover , if at all
Of course , he immediately gets another head coaching job ; this time more appropriately in the city section . Good luck to all involved!
#5. Go back to college and get your degree, but basketball or any other sport should be off the table by NCAA. College needs to be the “feeder” program for the pro’s. There should be no going back For what it’s worth, NCAA needs to grow a backbone.
At this point, any move the Raiders make is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Getting rid of Mark Davis is the only solution. Since Trump is sticking his nose into everything else, maybe he can oust the son-of-Al by executive order. That might not work either, because then the prez would want to change the name to ‘The Donald J. Trump Raiders.’
