  1. The Arizona Cardinals hired Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur as their new head coach.
  2. The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as their new head coach. The deal should be finalized after the Super Bowl.
  3. The San Francisco 49ers hired former Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris as their new defensive coordinator.
  4. The Cincinnati Reds signed slugger Eugenio Suarez to a one-year, $15 million deal.
  5. Former UCLA standout Amari Bailey is attempting to become the first basketball player to return to college after playing in NBA games. Bailey entered the 2023 NBA draft after his freshman year at UCLA. He was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets and played in 10 games his rookie season. He then spent 2 years in the G League before being cut last summer.
  6. The Cleveland Cavaliers traded De’Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings for Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis.
  7. Burbank quarterback Deshawn LaPorte has transferred to Quartz Hill. As a junior last year LaPorte threw for 3,900 yards and 54 touchdowns with six interceptions.
  8. Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George has been suspended for 50 games for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy.
  9. Former Rosemead head coach Arlin Slayton was named the head football coach at LA Wilson.
  10. The Minnesota Vikings fired GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Friday.
