The one time in my youth I arranged to watch the NCAA Tourney from sun-up to sundown…it was great. But at the end of the day, I felt sick inside, because I never went outside.

…And there was no one to call–everyone was at work. Social media was called the barber shop, and I didn’t cut my hair too often in those days.

I’m not trying to Caesar Chavez a guy who passed away in 2015, but did anyone ever question the two titles that North Carolina’s Dean Smith won?

In 1982, Georgetown’s Fred Brown threw the ball away to James Worthy after Michael Jordan’s go-ahead bucket…And in 1993, Michigan’s Chris Weber first traveled in the backcourt and then called a timeout the Wolverines didn’t have.

Our culture and government have forced us all to consider conspiracy theories, so was this just good fortune for Smith, or something else?

I get the hint of fish when I think about it.

Last add WBC: I wanted Team USA to win—always—but I don’t want the media handing me this “pitchers are ahead of the hitters this time of year” business…These guys knew they were going to be in the WBC…They lost, that’s all there is to it.

So I’m watching Miami (Ohio) play SMU last night, and for a second I thought Jay Burson had made a comeback…Then I realized it was Luke Skaljac.

You don’t have to remember Burson, but it would be a lot cooler if you did.

The key to the Lakers’ turnaround is LeBron James accepting that he is “a piece,” not “The Guy,” on the team. He’s been fantastic, and I’ve never been a LeBron fan.

I’ve always asserted that LeBron is great… but he should never be included in GOAT conversations. He’s a master accumulator—nothing wrong with that….but he is the cat who will cop out when crunch time comes about…

Last three weeks on RamView, we’ve talked about how the Rams should roll with Stetson Bennett as QB#2 if Jimmy Garoppolo doesn’t come back…and, voila, I wake up this morning, and the KBM is talking about Bennett being the primary backup to Matthew Stafford.

Carson Wentz re-signing with the Minnesota Vikings shrinks Jimmy G.’s market even more…very few options left for him.

Last Add Rams: Thrilled Fog City has been reduced to signing Christian Kirk.

Has anyone seen Detroit’s Cade Cunningham play? Dude’s pretty good, fun to watch, but he’s out now with a collapsed lung, and likely won’t be back until playoff time.
