4—The New York Mets defeated the Minnesota Twins, 3-2, last night to snap a 12 game losing streak.

8—Former Rams defensive tackle Greg Meisner turns 67 today. He was the first in what became a run of DTs from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1992, the Rams drafted Sean Gilbert third overall and in 2014, they took Aaron Donald 13th overall.
9—Ty Simpson spent one year as Alabama’s starting QB. He has 15 career starts.
