- Former NFL running back Chris Johnson said he has been diagnosed with ALS in an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” that aired Monday. Johnson, 40, who played for the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals in a 10-year career, rushed for 2,006 yards for the Titans in 2009 and was voted the AP Offensive Player of the Year.
