Galaxy Shut Out in Clasico

Charter Oak Picks off a Victory, 49-14
By Tim Peterson (Covina) – Charter Oak intercepted Northview quarterback Steven Comstock five times and forced seven turnovers overall in a 49-14 rout of the Vikings Friday night to kick off the 2017 season.

There is always an abundance of coaching changes in the off season but this year was particularly interesting because of the big name coaches that stepped down. Mike Maggiore resigned at West Covina as did Dale Ziola at Los Altos.
