Braves Take Down Minutemen in Opening Round

(Baldwin Park) The Baldwin Park Braves hosted the Maranatha Minutemen in the first round of the CIF Division 11 football playoffs, and the Braves showed the Minutemen the exit door to the post season with a decisive 42-28 victory Friday night at Baldwin Park High School. Freking Leads Tigers to Round Two

By Rich Whittington (South Pasadena) – The South Pasadena Tigers jumped out to an early lead, and never looked back, defeating the visiting San Marcos Royals, 42-17, Friday evening, earning the opportunity to advance to the second round of the CIF Division 11 playoffs.
