Covina hasn’t lost since Labor Day Weekend. The Colts continued their onslaught last week with a rout of South El Monte. Billy Livingston and his com padres are in beat mode.
Alhambra played well early against La Puente and then held on to win. The Moors defense, save for that one week break down against San Gabriel, has played pretty well. Some people think that the Moors year is next season. They’re still a young team and have played ahead of schedule.
The Moors have laid a great foundation and next year will be a legitimate threat to win the Almont and make a run. As for this year, it ends here. Covina’s time is now.
