The Heralds get yet another shot at Monrovia. Two years ago Whittier Christian took the Wildcats down to the wire in a three point loss. Last year it was all Monrovia from start to finish.
Whittier Christian has already surprised a lot of people this year with an Olympic League title and a second round playoff appearance. The Heralds lost a lot to graduation but they really haven’t missed a beat…so far. A win over Monrovia however is a little to much to ask.
The Wildcats showed it’s athleticism as well as its defensive prowess last week in a win over Pomona. M-Town can win a slugfest or a shootout. Whittier Christian will have to play a perfect game to beat Monrovia. The problem is Monrovia makes it impossible to play a perfect game against them.
Wildcats advance to semis.
