Nogales HC Sebastian Hernandez has stepped down

(La Puente) – Sebastian Hernandez has stepped down as the head coach at Nogales mulitiple sources have confirmed. Hernandez spent three years at the helm compiling an overall record of 7-23.

Hernandez, was the defensive coordinator before taking over for Vito Saracino as the head coach in 2010. Hernandez’ best year was in 2011 when he guided the Nobles to a record of 5-5 and 3-3 in the Valle Vista League -good enough for a fourth place finish. That year Nogales knocked off Northview and Baldwin Park in its last two games.

Last year the Nobles dropped to 1-9. A search for a replacement is now underway.
