San Dimas running back Jake Payton
Jake Payton’s transfer from San Dimas to Upland has been denied by CIF. The information was posted on the CIF Southern Section website Thursday citing a violation of rule 510 which is the athletically motivated rule.
Payton transferred to Upland in June and San Dimas then challenged the move. If the ruling is upheld and not reversed on a possible appeal Payton would be ineligible for the entire year.
Payton rushed for 1658 yards and 22 touchdowns last year as a junior.
