It's V for Victory in Pomona's win over Northview

The top five remained the same. Number four, San Marino, lost but it was to top ranked Monrovia and the Titans had a chance to tie it in the last minute. The bottom five teams are a combined 0-31. Here’s how it stacks up.        

 1. Monrovia (6-0) – It wasn’t easy but Cats hold on.        

 2. San Dimas (5-1) – Saints put on a 60’s show against Ganesha.          

 3. Paraclete (4-3) – Shut out Whittier Christian in Olympic opener.   

 4. San Marino (5-1) – Missed extra point plagues Titans.        

 5. Arroyo (4-2) – Knights win ugly; O- line needs to get better.       

 6. Baldwin Park (5-1) – BP off and running in Valle Vista.        

 7. Temple City (3-2-1) – Another game, another 40 for Rams.      

 8.  Azusa (6-1) – Aztecs continue waltz through Montview.     

 9. Village Christian (6-1) – Crusaders belt Baptists in Olympic opener.         

 10. Gladstone (5-1) – Showdown with Azusa this week at Citrus.              

 11. Pomona (5-1) – Devils run by Northview; Taj Teague is the real deal.     

 12. La Puente (5-2) – After working Workman, Warriors second best in Montview.         

 13. Rosemead (1-5) – Panthers gave Knights all they wanted.        

 14. Whittier Christian (4-2) – Crusaders can’t score against Paraclete.             

 15. Workman (4-2) – Lobos need a win over Sierra Vista this week.          

 16. La Canada (2-3) – Spartans can’t handle TC; Are they out of post season picture?         

 17. LA Baptist (3-4) – Need a win over Paraclete this week to stay in contention.       

 18. Covina (2-3) – It was no walk in the Baldwin Park for Colts.             

 19. Valley Christian (3-3) – Learned a lesson from St. Margaret’s.          

 20. Sierra Vista (3-3) – Dons no match for league leading Azusa.             

 21. Northview (1-5) – Vikes hoped things would change in league. Nope.

 23. Gabrielino (2-4) – Huge win over El Monte; at Arroyo this week.         

 24. South Pasadena (2-4) – Stop the presses; Tigers have won two straight.
