Long time California HC Jim Arnold has stepped down
Jim Arnold has stepped down as the head football coach at California High School in Whittier.
In seven seasons helming the Condor program Arnold went 50-29-1, with six playoff appearances. His only season not making the playoffs was 2013.
Arnold’s run also included a pair of semi-finals appearances in 2007 and again in 2009. His combined post season record was 4-6.
This season California went 4-6 (2-3) in league. The Condors missed the playoffs when they fell to Santa Fe 28-14 last Friday night.
