2. Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman attended Compton Dominguez High and his father Kevin Sherman still lives in Compton and has worked for the Los Angeles sanitation department for 26 years.

3. Verbal commitments.

5. The Cowboys name Rod Marinelli DC and Monte Kiffin assistant head coach/defense.

6. Indiana has five players in double figures in a 104-92 win over the Lakers. It’s the Lakers 16th loss in the last 19 games.

7. Kevin Durant has scored 30 or more points in 11 straight games.

8. 320 players surveyed voted Seattle’s Pete Carroll most popular coach in the NFL.

9. Wilson is 6-0 in the Valle Vista League and 14-7 overall. Senior Kevin Price is shooting 57 percent from the field and averaging over 11 points per game.
