  1. The Rams released quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges.
  2. Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Travis Etienne will miss the entire season with a Lisfranc injury. 
  3. Hawai’i at UCLA, Saturday 12:30 p.m. Rose Bowl on ESPN. 
  4. Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer signed a three-year extension. 
  5. When Arroyo kicks off Friday night at home against Ganesha it will be its first game since November 8, 2019 when the Knights lost to Hemet 48-20 in the first round of the CIF Division 11 playoffs. 
  6. Pasadena OC Robert Maxie was the interim head coach Friday night in the loss to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. 
  7. Ganesha will now travel to Arroyo to face the Knights Friday night after Azusa canceled. Sierra Vista canceled its game with Arroyo to set up this matchup.   
  8. The San Diego Padres fired pitching coach Larry Rothschild Monday. 
  9. Former Cleveland Indians outfielder Albert Belle turns 55 today.  
  10. On this day in 1986 Mark McGwire of the Oakland A’s hit his first major league home run.
