(Baldwin Park) – Eric “Tarzan” Terrazas introduced himself to Glendale with three touchdowns in the first half and another in the second in the Dons 48-13 victory Thursday night at Sierra Vista.

The night started off just as expected, Sierra Vista four plays in and a 39-yard touchdown run by Terrazas making it 6-0.

The Nitros came right back on their first play on offense a trick play double pass as Justin Melville went to Daniel Autrey went for 60-yards and a score putting them up 7-6.

Terrazas and the Dons went right back to work on offense. On their first play he went 64-yards to paydirt and took in the two-point conversion making it 14-7.

Glendale would throw an interception to Alexis Alonzo which led to a 70-yard Terrazas touchdown his third of the first quarter.

The Nitros were forced to punt on their next three possessions which led to rushing touchdowns from Robert Rodriguez, Alonzo and Kimbom Aseh.

The score was 42-7 at halftime.

The second half started with a running clock. Sierra Vista starters would get in one drive and you guessed it – a 15-yard touchdown by Terrazas.

Glendale got on the board in the fourth quarter when Joseph Caballero took it 58-yards to the house.

The Nitros will have a much needed bye week looking to get their first victory against Viewpoint in two weeks, while Sierra Vista will host crosstown rivals Baldwin Park next week.
