So who is your kid Lupe? Or at least what team does he play for. The coaches want to know so they can stick him on the bench. No problem. There are 50+ guys ready to replace him.
The kid only played offense. He did not play any defense at all. His brother is sophomore Adrian Orihuela and he plays defense and had a lot of tackles in the game.
oh look another internet tough guy! So he gets the ball 18 times + 3-4 catches, plays every down of defense @ Lb & 2 special teams. As a freshman was a league champ & cif placer wrestling . but you want to talk about cross country?
From the looks of it tonite ER has lots of boys ready to tote the rock.
Good thing mommies don’t coach football, if mommy don’t want him to get the rock 20 times maybe she should put him in cross country
@ ER person who was very, very close to the program knew about this kid and I’m not referring to a coach this comes at no surprise. The eyes don’t lie. Great kid, great family and hard worker, it’s his time ! Kick DELETED tonight !
Well my kids a RB & I would never want him to have that many carries. <20 for sure. Before we talk about toughness, he also plays LB & wrestles.
Baker gave the Rams their highlight of last season when he went deep on the Raiders in the last seconds of the game.
Medrano has proved that he will feed a kid if he’s rolling. Saw it happen at a Smudgepot game when a kid named Angel Verdugo ran the ball over 40 times.
Lives down the street from ER, didn’t miss any off-season workouts, morning, afternoon, evening didn’t matter he was at every single one, perseverance, hard work, development, coaching!
Who was the other player ?
I agree with the take about opportunity, but these are the things that good organically developed programs do . Credit to ER , but there are a lot of good programs on various levels doing similar player development .
I’d rather hear that Troy had hired a new defensive coordinator. USC has always been about football anyway, the sport that pays the bills for everything else, so let’s get Riley’s squad in shape.
Enjoyed the piece in the WDN about two boys from nowhere having huge games. In ER’s case the kid never carried the ball before in a varsity game even though he tried out for two seasons. From O to 37 carries. You think a kid that never played would get a chance at BA or MD or even LS? No way Jose! If your going to carry the rock for them your going to need to bring films and credentials. This kid could not have had film, he never played. But I tell you what, I’m guessing this kid showed up to practice, did hie homework last year because the ER coaches are teachers and on campus people as well as well, he probably was the lad assigned to put up practice cones and lug around equipment and hold up pads for the lineman to hit. Good for him, now instead of lugging around equipment he is lugging around the rock for his home team.
