  1. The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 Thursday in Game 3 of the NLCS. The Phillies lead the series 2-1. 
  2. The Houston Astros beat the Texas Rangers 10-3 Thursday night to even the ALCS at 2-2.  
  3. The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the New Orleans Saints 31-24 on Thursday Night Football. 
  4. The Las Vegas Aces beat the New York Liberty 70-69 Wednesday night to wrap up the WNBA title in four games. The Aces became the first repeat champions in the WNBA since the LA Sparks did it in 2001-2002. 
  5. Chino quarterback Diego Ogata has rushed for 1,075 yards and 15 touchdowns and thrown for 756 yards and 7 touchdowns this season.  
  6.  Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will not play in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears due to a back injury. 
  7. Arroyo at South El Monte, Friday Night, 7:00 p.m. 
  8. Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden skipped practice Thursday for the second straight day. 
  9. #7 Penn St. at #3 Ohio St., Saturday 9:00 a.m. FOX. 
  10.  On this day in 1990 the Cincinnati Reds beat the Oakland A’s 2-1 to complete a four-game sweep of the Oakland A’s in the World Series. Reds’ pitcher Jose Rijo was named MVP

    USC is going to lose to Utah this weekend at the Coliseum. The Utes are always tough, but armed with the knowledge that pressure on Mr. Heisman is all it takes to bring Stinkin’ Lincoln’s troops down, this one could be very lopsided.
