  1. Pasadena beat Arcadia 67-58 Tuesday night to win at least a share of the Pacific League title. Pasadena honored former star Michael Cooper by retiring his jersey after the game. 
  2. The Lakers lost to the Atlanta Hawks 138-122 Tuesday night to fall to 24-25 on the season. 
  3. Ben Johnson has decided to stay on as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions rather than pursue head coaching vacancies with the Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks. 
  4. The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to hire former Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith as their new offensive coordinator. 
  5. Offensive Coordinator Bobby Slowik will stay with the Houston Texans for the 2024 season after interviewing with several teams for their job openings. 
  6. 56.9 million viewers watched the Detroit Lions-San Francisco 49ers NFC Championship game Sunday on FOX. 
  7. The Chargers hired Baltimore Ravens executive Joe Hortiz as their next general manager. 
  8. Michigan State head basketball head coach Tom Izzo won his 700th career game with an 81-72 victory over Michigan Tuesday night. 
  9. AP Men’s College Basketball Top 5: 1. UConn 2. Purdue 3. North Carolina 4. Houston 5. Tennessee. 
  10. Kansas Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu tore his ACL in the win over the Baltimore Ravens and will miss Super Bowl LVIII.
