CIF is not going to charge $35 .00
Anonymous ? why 4000 fans
@dollarsandsense stop being a bitter hina, just a few years ago kids were begging to play a partial season in front of 50 people, and you want to find a reason to hate on a team getting to play in one of the greatest stadiums in the world in front of a mere 4000 fans, most high school games are lucky to get 1000 fans.
@Low Profile: I believe the amazing SoFi experience you reference is when the stadium is hosting an NFL game with at least 70% of the seats filled. With only 4000 fans in the house, the experience is going to be more like doing a walk-through tour of an empty arena. The lack of butts in the seats tells the tale of what’s really going on here.
The sofi experience is amazing, and this may be the cheapest way to do it these days
I’m sure CIF will add its popular ‘convenience fee’ onto the ticket price, boosting the entrance to roughly $35. Then there’s the issue of parking…SoFi isn’t about to NOT charge for that. There’s extra gas to be bought, and you don’t even want to hear about the concession prices. To be safe, budget around $100 a head to do this game. Certainly the majority of readers have this kind of cash kicking around for a preseason outing.
Not sure about the sarcasm but El Rancho is typically a program that is well supported in the stands every week. There will be a total of 4000 tickets allotted amongst both schools and will likely all be sold. I was told SoFi is charging $29.95 per ticket.
Since SH/ER game starts at 8:45pm, does that mean it is a nightcap of a HS double or triple header that evening?
@two how much are tickets ?
Be sure to buy your tickets early, because word is that SoFi may not be sufficient to seat all that want to witness this epic. Sure, the Mater Dei-Bosco and the Downey-Warren games didn’t come close to filling the Inglewood facility, but ER-South Hills is a whole different animal.
