Out of all these coaches, I will only listen to the one from RHP. Props.

@FBF … the most important thing is to get a head coaching job . No matter where you go , you can always dress up your resume and make it look ok . How did Moye get a job , coming off 0-9 outscored 374-39 in the year at Sierra Vista .Or even Matty V going to Muir from Nogales lol

This is in terms of career advancement ; there’s a whole other way of coaching which values being a part of a quality program whose success may go largely unnoticed.

Pioneer and Whittier much better jobs than the Workman’s Pomonas and Azusas of the scene

I’m aware that the Whittier district pays in the top 5% of the state. That’s why Cineceros wanted the job, but he wasn’t given employment, only a walk-on gig. If the Pioneer and Whittier spots do not involve teaching jobs, they will not attract anyone but novices.

The vacancy at St Paul lasting this long means Zepeda is not being brought back. Too bad the facilities at that school are so bad; because of this, the school will never get a guy on the level of a Lance Mitchell (although they think they can). St Paul is now officially the place you go when you want to ruin what’s left of your reputation.

Speaking of downtrodden programs, I wasn’t aware that Pioneer had an opening. If you’re a lousy coach, the choice between Pioneer and Whittier is like the choice between poison or a shot to the head. I can’t imagine anyone outside of a youngster trying for his first HC gig being interested in either of these dumpster fires.
From T. Peterson: A couple of things: 1. No, Zepeda isn’t coming back. He’s at Whittier College now recruiting. 2. Pioneer has actually been good the last couple of years. Won a CIF title and then played in the CIF Finals this past season. Great facilities as well. Also from what I hear the Whittier School District pays well. It’s a good job. You’d be surprised to hear how many coaches have told me that.
