(West Covina) – South Hills Academy has named Jericho Silvernail as the Head Coach of its football program, as the school prepares for its inaugural season competing in the Gold Coast League Athletic Director Oscar Robles confirmed Thursday.
While Robles was initially prepared to serve as head coach, the decision was made to appoint a long-term leader to establish a strong foundation for the new program and support its long-term growth. Coach Silvernail served as the associate head coach at Long Beach City College the last seven years.
Silvernail will oversee all aspects of the football program as South Hills Academy launches Eagles Football. The Eagles will open their inaugural season at home in Week 0 against Maya Angelou High School.
Additional details regarding the upcoming season will be announced at a later date.

Again, we see another private hiring that would be much better suited to the needs of St Paul. But the Santa Fe Spring school is so cash-starved that they had to settle for the most economical option. This lack of funds probably meant that Moschetti was unable to get tuition relief for many of his players, which had to have played a big role in his departure.
