By Tim Peterson I said it on draft day and I’ll say it again. The Lakers missed it when they passed on Jahlil Okafor. They drafted D’Angelo Russell not only because they liked his game but also with the thought that something else was coming – namely a big man.

Keane for Three! Galaxy Rolls

By Tim Peterson (Carson)- The Galaxy did what they needed to do Wednesday night against PSA Elite in an Open Cup match. PSA Elite scored first but LA responded by reeling off the next six goals including three by Robbie Keane in a 6-1 rout before 4, 055 at StubHub Center.

Gordon Gets Game Winner for Galaxy

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – Alan Gordon headed in the game winner in stoppage time to give the LA Galaxy a 1-0 win over Houston Friday night before 20,195 at Stub Hub Center. Gordon didn’t enter the game until the 69th minute but he had the biggest impact of the match.
