By Tim Peterson Cresecenta Valley has always had talented and athletic players. The Falcons run a high powered offense and to do that you need a good quarterback and quick receivers with good hands. For the most part they have had that. But this year there is a difference.
Can Pasadena Compete in Pacific?
We know Muir always has athletes and John Hardy might be one of the best coaches in the Southeast Division. Burbank has several key players returning including James “Boobie” Williams. Crescenta Valley, especially with Brian Gadsby now back in the fold, could be the most explosive team in the league.

I’m not sure why there is such an uproar about Marshall coming to the Mission Valley League. If I’m a card carrying member of the MVL I’m thrilled about the new entry.
Apaches Are up and Running
(Arcadia) – Arcadia returned from the dead period and put on the pads for the first time on Wednesday. The Apaches have always been long on skill players and this year should be no exception. Transfer Joey Harmon and Zach Yee are both getting extended time at quarterback.
Maranatha Gets in the Passing Mix
(Pasadena) – Maranatha threw against other teams for the first time Thursday as Azusa, Crescenta Valley and Western Christian joined the Minutemen on their campus.
