Most of the schools are on dead period which explains why I saw Arcadia Assistant Coach Eric Elias on the golf course Saturday afternoon. “What? Are the Mid Valley guys out here playing for money?” Elias laughed.

West Covina Wins Shootout

(El Monte) – West Covina beat Northview 30-18 to win the SGV Shootout at Arroyo Saturday. The Bulldogs, not traditionally a passing team, knocked off Monrovia in the semi finals before dispatching of Northview. Monrovia beat Whittier Christian in the consolation game.
