By Tim Peterson (Temple City) – South Pasadena scored four runs in the sixth inning to break it open and went on to beat Temple City 8-3 Tuesday at Marquardt Stadium at Bosson Field.

Cantwell Names Fierro Head Coach
By Tim Peterson (Montebello) – Daniel Fierro has been named the new head football coach at Cantwell Sacred Heart the school announced Wednesday.
Wright Takes the Reins at Rosemead
By Tim Peterson (Rosemead) – Dwayne Wright, who played running back at Fresno State and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills, has been named the new head football coach at Rosemead the school confirmed Wednesday. Wright was the head coach at Gabrielino in 2023.
Oh Mercy! Aztecs Roll
By Tim Peterson (El Monte) – Azusa scored seven runs in the fourth inning and went on to an 11-0 rout of Arroyo Tuesday at Arroyo. The game was called after five innings due to the mercy rule.

By Tim Peterson I was bummed that Northview isn’t going to Vegas this year. I was actually going to make the trek in August but the Vikings weren’t able to work out the scheduling. I won’t be playing the slots at South Point on Week 0 but I may be at the Northview game.
Eagles Can’t Keep up with Victor Valley
