Mid Valley High School Football Top 12

No movement this week as everybody won. Rowland stayed unbeaten with a big rally while Los Altos is also undefeated after another Hacienda League win. Rio Hondo opened Gold Coast League play with another easy victory. Muir is averaging over 57 points per game in Pacific League play. Scary.

By Ron Vrooman (Montebello) – The Schurr Spartans crushed the visiting Alhambra Moors, 56-0, on Friday night to run their Almont League record to 3-0. The Spartans are now tied with the Bell Gardens Lancers for the league lead with two games left in the regular season.

Arroyo Hands Gabrielino First League Loss

By Rich Whittington (San Gabriel) – The Arroyo Knights reminded us that they are still a force in the Mission Valley League, defeating their heavily-favored host Gabrielino Eagles Friday evening, 35-10, in front of a stunned crowd at Gabrielino High school.
