By George Hernandez (Covina)- Rio Hondo Prep a school of 90 students got its biggest 11-man football win with a 37-30 victory over Charter Oak who has around 1300 students, Friday night at Lou Farrar Field.

Arroyo Comes up Short, 12-0

By Rich Whittington (El Monte) – The Arroyo Knights suffered their first loss of the 2021 football season Friday evening, as the visiting Claremont Wolfpack posted a 12-0 victory in the first round of the CIF Division 9 playoffs, in front of a sizable, and very vocal, crown at B.L. Bergstrom Stadium.

Moors Beat Lancers, Ride Coin Tosses Into Playoffs

By Ron Vrooman (Alhambra) – The Alhambra Moors put up 21 points in the second quarter and added a score in the third to defeat the visiting Bell Gardens Lancers, 28-13, in their regular-season finale last Thursday night.
