Monrovia’s Bell Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive
By Rich Whittington (Monrovia) – The Monrovia Wildcats kept their modest playoff hopes alive Friday evening as the Cats defeated the visiting San Marino Titans, 35-7, in front of a sizable homecoming crowd at Monrovia High School.

Thursday Night Football Schedule
We all look forward to Friday Night Lights but now with schedule changes and referee shortages there is always a full slate of Thursday Night games as well. Here are this week’s Thursday night games.
Mid Valley High School Football Top 12
No movement this week as everybody won. Rowland stayed unbeaten with a big rally while Los Altos is also undefeated after another Hacienda League win. Rio Hondo opened Gold Coast League play with another easy victory. Muir is averaging over 57 points per game in Pacific League play. Scary.

Spartans Roll Against Moors, 56-0
By Ron Vrooman (Montebello) – The Schurr Spartans crushed the visiting Alhambra Moors, 56-0, on Friday night to run their Almont League record to 3-0. The Spartans are now tied with the Bell Gardens Lancers for the league lead with two games left in the regular season.
Arroyo Hands Gabrielino First League Loss
