By Ron Vrooman (Monrovia) – The Temple City Rams scored on their first four possessions to take a 28-0 halftime lead before settling for a 28-14 win over the Alhambra Moors in a game played Friday night at Monrovia High School.
Lancers Fall to Scripps Ranch
By David Milde (Norwalk) – Scripps Ranch took the long ride from San Diego and came up with a 29-12 victory over Norwalk Friday night at Norwalk High School.

El Monte Grinds Out 29-0 Win over Alhambra
By Ron Vrooman (El Monte) – The El Monte Lions utilized a strong ground game and a hard-hitting defense to beat the visiting Alhambra Moors, 29-0, last Thursday night. The victory gave the Lions a 2-0 start, while the Moors fell to 0-2 on the season.
Norwalk Slams Santa Fe
By Ricardo Moreno [Norwalk] – Norwalk continued where they left off last week and ran through Santa Fe with a 48-13 victory Friday night at Norwalk high school.
