Time to put on a hoodie and dark glasses to watch Del Rio teams as the losses keep piiing up.. Santa Fe should collar a win this week against the hapless 0-4 Rosemead team that got clobbered by Maya Angelou of L.A. last week. The race for the 2nd place spot in the league is wide open. It looks like that team wil go D11 or worse.
They suck ; don’t know what happened there ?. I thought Coach C would continue priogram upswing , but. If step backward this year . Their whole league is bad this year BP etc

Still Rio is legit and have been for their twenty years in 11 man and prior decades in 8 man.
They were prominent D12 and D13 championship contenders back when you could actually have strong D12 and 13 teams (no 14 then) and not just best of worst like we have in todays model.
A decade ago the D13 champ would have CalPreps of +20 or better , last years vaunted SG squad was -15 even with all those playoff wins
Rio Hondo prep lost to Norwalk last season in the playoffs, not Downey. Big difference
Rio Hondo Prep is legitimate. They play Torrance at home next week and may be able to run the table if they win that game. Remember, they beat Charter Oak in the first round two years ago, lost to Downey by one in the playoffs last season and that sophomore class is very good.

Here’s my new update of predictions in set order on how I believe this year is gonna shape out in the MVL. Only league records included.
1.) South El Monte 5-0
2.) Arroyo 4-1
3.) El Monte 3-2
4.) Rosemead 2-3
5.) Mtn. View 1-4
6.) Gabrielino 0-5
Arroyo and El Monte can easily flip flop 2 and 3. Mtn. View earns a win over Gabrielino.
Next week TC vs SG, I think this will be a good match up. If SG wins they should make the Schurr game interesting.

TC’s loss to polytechnic was hard to watch. TC looked like the better team and really just beat themselves. One really big thing also is if they don’t put the ball in their best players hands more they’ll continue to lose. Number 8 needs the ball. TC’s offense needs to use the weapon they have in order to win games. But overall TC was the better team.

Well Cinderella’s coach turned into a pumpkin as TC’s win streak got smashed like a glass slipper in the fight to avoid the bottom of the RHL. It was all too predictable.
But it is good to see TC get off the mat and win some games, we all knew this was not the 1970s and record CIF consecutive win record.. Congratulations on the turn around.. Just wait till next year! Who knows what might happen.
You barely won your 3rd game since 2019, please shut up no one fears Santa Fe not even Whittier does. Pioneer will beat you on Friday, focus on them.
All this talk about ER’s decline is premature. Once the new stadium is in place, the program will shift into high gear, because new construction is the ultimate stimulant. Just look what it did for Cal and Pioneer.
Mayfair is a better team but they ain’t all that. ER is the joke just like their fans. And. Yes la Serna lives in ur head for free. You will never be top dawg. Santa Fe will own you next. Go Chiefs.
Horribly coached Alhambra team I get we got young kids but doesn’t seem like we teaching them properly at the lower levels and since we have become a developmental program with no feeder team, coach Eric needs to focus on the lower levels
Really surprised by Franklin high they had more players in there program than schurr put up a good fight
When the administration at Alhambra going to move on from coach Eric did a good job getting us out the mess with the bad hires made after Torres was fired.
