Good Morning!
Did Colin Cowherd really say yesterday morning Magic Johnson wasn’t that great of a closer when he played in NBA?

Between the whacking of Osama Bin Laden (high five), to the NFL Draft, I almost forgot about the NHL and NBA playoffs this weekend…Seems like the Lakers forgot about the NBA playoffs as well…

Last Add Reality and What Really Matters: We always look at our athletes as these rare breeds/specimens…We call them freaks of nature and unbelievable talents…but goodness when you hear about our Special Forces and Navy SEALS and you get a glimpse of the precision and decision making required of them…You have to be awed, you just have to be…
God Bless them, God Bless our President, and God Bless the greatest country to ever exist on the face of the Earth….

Okay Really Last Add Reality and What Really Matters: I got the tip on Sunday about Bin Laden and went to post it, but Robledo already had something posted….AGAIN!

Note to Linebackers: When participating in a 7-On-7 be sure you make your “read step” before retreating into coverage…or risk the wrath of your DC/HC…

So does a hitting streak work like a no-hitter? Of course most of us know that you’re not supposed to talk about a no-hitter while its in process, but how much can we talk about Andre Ethier’s current 28 game hitting streak?
If I say; “He’s halfway to Dimaggio!” is that okay? Or have I just put the hex on him?

Better question is there such a thing as a “hex”?
Do you get superstitious about things involving sports?
My brother still blames me for the Rams losing Super Bowl 14 (yeah I know its; XIV but I’m sick of the Romans)…because I didn’t go to church.
Bad News Barker and I were terrified of jinxing the Lakers in Game Six of the 1985 finals against the Celtics that we went to church that morning…and we didn’t check out the end of it—on a small portable black and white upstairs in the gymnasium—until after the Pastor said: “Amen, God Bless you, you are dismissed.”
Before TiVo/DVR it was much easier to fall into ‘hex’ or ‘jinx’ paranoia…
How about you? Are you pyscho about something or things when it comes to sports?

Really? With all the economic problems going on in the country and the state…is the city of Sacramento really going to help fund a new arena for the Kings?

Got a great update from Pasadena and quarterback Brandon Cox.
“I play baseball,” said Cox when asked about his off season. “So when I have time off from that everything I do has something to do with football. On the weekends I take a couple of my recievers up to the school to just throw routes on air, just to stay a polished passer and to strengthen the connection between me and my recievers so when season comes its like second nature. Also I run and lift to stay in the best shape as possible for next season. I also try to go to all the top football camps in the area, so I can keep learning the game and how to become a better quarterback because I still have room to grow.”
Three of the receivers Cox has been spending a lot of time with are; Riian Simpson, Armon Easley, and Marcus Green. All have looked good, but Green is someone you could expect a breakout season from.
“I believe if we do what we are capable of,” says Pasadena HC Randy Horton. “We could go 8-2. I believe this is the first time in a while that we have an opportunity in the Pacific League.
