2.) In triple overtime the Blackhawks defeat Bruins in Game One of the Stanley Cup 4-3. Fifth longest Stanley Cup game in history.

4.) Clemson officials announce that legendary Howard’s Rock has been vandalized

6.) El Monte Lions freshman softball sensation Seanna Jimenez was selected to the All-CIF team for her 2013 performance. Jimenez batted .500 overall (.547 in league) had 30 hits, 20 RBIs, 4 triples, 5 home runs, and 15 stolen bases.

7.) On this date in 1905 New York Giant Christy Matthewson throws the second no-hitter of his career. The “Christian Gentleman” defeated the Chicago Cubs 1-0. He would finish the season 31-9.

8.) Dodgers return Justin Sellers to minor leagues.

9.) San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker stays he will play in Game Four tonight.
