(Rosemead)— Diamond Ranch Panthers’ running-back Davion Gasie carried the ball 18 times for 51-yards and scored two touchdowns in a 27-14 victory over the Rosemead Panthers Friday night at Rod Marinelli Stadium.
Rosemead jumped to a quick 7-0 lead in the first quarter when quarterback Steven Nava connected with Luis Luna for 39-yards. He also connected with Jordan Parham that tied up the game at 14 early in the second half. However, Nava struggled though out the night. He was sacked four times and was picked off three times.
Diamond Ranch responded to the tying touchdown when Daniel Garcia returned a punt 36-yards to paydirt late in the third quarter putting his team up 20-14.
Gaise added insurance with a late score from 4-yards sealing the victory for D-Ranch. He also added the interception to set up the score.

***”I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys,” said Gasie, talking about his offensive line.

***“This is the Rosemead team that I thought we had. Physical and aggressive. We just have to keep it together for four quarters,” said Rosemead HC Marc Paramo.
