Can we institute a moratorium on the incessant whining about the number of playoff divisions as well as the man-child jeremiads about “participation trophies”? The point has been made (and made and made) to the point where the horse has been dead for months. We get it: you don’t like the format and you feel like high school football played by 14-18 year olds should be a Spartan like training system for an unfair world where only the strong survive. It all reeks of male insecurity and garbage platitudes about how “things used to be.”

Their season was bailed out by dubious CIF playoff format . How does 5th place team with 3-7 record make playoffs , let alone get 2 seed ????
Now he boasts CIF finals appearances on resume !
He may have done great job and my comments not directed at coach , but the meaning of a good season is beyond confused with equity format .
I don’t think Division 12 is good enough for Valley Christian. They have always been more like Division 8-10 team over past decade .
Remember how good you are is DEFINED by what Division you are in
    Playoff performance CIF equity raffle

The better title to this piece would have been “Money talks, so Walker Walks.” St. Nick says he’ll be in search of a new home for the ’23 season, and I have to believe that means a place that is home to better pay. The yearly review probably had Walker demanding more dough, and when that didn’t appear on the table, he bolted. I do, however, like the smooth goodbye composition…highly diplomatic.
