  1. The Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres 8-0 Wednesday night to even the NLDS at 2-2. Game 5 is Friday night at Dodger Stadium. 
  2. The New York Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 Wednesday to wrap up the NLDS in four games. 
  3. The New York Yankees beat the Kansas City Royals 3-1 Thursday night to win the ALDS in four games. 
  4. The Cleveland Guardians beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4 Thursday night to even the ALDS at 2-2.  
  5. The Las Vegas Raiders announced they are benching quarterback Gardner Minshew and will start Aidan O’Connell against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. 
  6. Tropicana Field, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, had its roof ripped apart by Hurricane Milton Wednesday night. 
  7. Danny Green, who won championships with three different teams (2014 with San Antonio, 2019 with Toronto and 2020 with the Lakers), announced his retirement from the NBA after 15 seasons. 
  8. The San Francisco 49ers beat the Seattle Seahawks 36-24 on Thursday Night Football.  
  9. Penn St. at USC, LA Memorial Coliseum, Saturday 12;30 p.m. CBS. 
  10. #1 Texas will host Oklahoma Saturday in the Red River Rivalry Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on ABC.
