I can only reference 2016 when Sage Hill dropped out of Academy League for 8 man at a later date than The Hall dropping football.
CIF made no consideration , called all Freelance and Brethren was denied playoffs because no wild card bids were available in D10.
I’m not saying this was fair or the practice should be continued just pointing out hypocrisy and lack of transparency by governing body.

    @ Low Profile,
Campbell Hall dropped their football program in late spring. This was not the fault of the remaining schools in the league. I would venture to bet that they would be required to add a fourth team or more into the league by years end rather than penalize the remaining teams within 3 months of the season starting.

    10) Is that really a league with 3 teams ? Previously CIF said no , and all teams were declared freelance. Brethren Christian 2016 ….. the only undefeated team to not make the playoffs

The Trojans should be fine if Lincoln Riley can learn to call timeouts before letting all the time run off the clock in a winnable regulation situation, AND if they can be graced with referees who understand what constitutes pass interference, particularly on first and third down of an overtime possession.
