- Former Florida/ Mississippi St. head coach Dan Mullen has been named the new head coach at UNLV.
- Former USC quarterback, Malachi Nelson, who transferred to Boise St. after the 2023 season, plans to enter the transfer portal again.
- Former USC/ NFL quarterback Carson Palmer has been named the new head football coach at Santa Margarita High School.
- Rich Rodriguez is returning to West Virgina as the head football coach. Rodriguez previously coached at West Virginia from 2001-2007 before leaving to take over as the head coach at Michigan.
- Charter Oak quarterback Corin Berry was named the Offensive Player of the Year for the Sierra League.
- The Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers 12-6 on Thursday Night Football to improve to 8-6 on the year. The 49ers dropped to 6-8 and were eliminated from playoff contention.
- Colorado’s two-way star Travis Hunter was named the AP Player of the Year.
