@ anonymous,
Quit living in the past… Nobody cares about your two little championships. Today’s day and age is about what have you done right now… And you guys are the same as Montebello… Get out your letterman jacket and wear it to the Schurr high school game and be proud and tell everybody how you stuck up for SHS. Pretty sure nobody will know who you are . just another clown who lives in the past.
@ Gardunos …. How late are you open Friday night ? Haven’t been for awhile and a burrito will taste good after the game
The restaurant was best idea in the dialogue
Gardunos! was more than MHS will ever be! SAD to see but true. We can live in the past. Remember the good old days. To WIN a CIF championship. You no the feeling! OH WAIT NO YOU DONT!!! 🤣
@ Spartan for life,
It’s good to see that you have two CIF Championships. Big deal… In comparison to who? Montebello? Quit living in the past I try playing with your homegrown players rather than all the transfers you guys get every single year. It’s just the same garbage you spew out of your mouth every year and pound your hairy chest like it’s something that you participated in… We know you didn’t… SHS is just an average football school… Just like Montebello. So take off your letterman jacket and put it back where it belongs in your closet in the basement you live in… Get a life.
@Sparty
Again, I repeat my message. Please read it again
ERFAN- Best not to read much of Anonymous comments because I suggest, but not perfectly, that about 85 to 90% of his comments always include criticism and insults. This time I guess Anonymous showed he can alter the truth too
Torta lover
Just stating facts 🤷🏽 JEALOUS?
I have been there twice & won. Twice as much as you tortuga!
Whats that saying always a bridesmaid never the bride! 🤣

@SPARTY
You just provided an example why people think you all are trash and ghetto. You even got kicked out of a 7 on 7 tournament last year for your ghettoness. Stop talking your trash and act like you’ve been there.
Oiler Pride give me a break. MHS has been around for over a century. MHS has never won a CIF title. Come up the hill and you can see the CIF CHAMPIONSHIP from Vail Ave. Joker!!
Saint paul only when this season will be bishop Montgomery.Like it was said before if the previous coach couldn’t turn this program around, why would you think a coach who couldn’t win a cif title or make semis be any better.
What happened to #2Lara from Bonita I heard he busted his knee again in the SmudgePot game. Is that true if so I feel bad for him.
@ Mtb Oiler, agreed. Shameful display by this coach, we need more home grown coaches with Oiler pride. The program has no identity and we need to send this clown and his madden video game defensive scheme back to Schurr. He’s too worried about being a hype man and posting on social media.
St. Paul is pathetic. All those pop Warner coaches aren’t gonna cut it at this level. Montoya shows again he is over his head not knowing what to do. There is no almost league teams to pad tour stats. Can’t even be competitive.
Hearing the Keppel Fans screaming in happiness after their last second game winning touchdown on video. Well thats what high school football is all about. Congrats!!
Don’t Sleep On Northview..
Coach Perez & Staff Are
Great Coaches..They Will Be
There In The Post Season..
Making Noise!!..
They’re Taking On Very Good
Teams On Their Non League
Schedule..Been Doing It The Viking Way!!!..Go Vikings!!!

@ A Flatlander,
I know the reason Dagher came back. I won’t say why he is back but I’ll say it’s not breaking the rules like what you probably think. I have been told by multiple people that he is living in Burbank, not Lancaster which honestly raises more questions about Paraclete if anything. And about all of those recruits, they all graduated or transferred last year. The team this year is all locals. Their QB is a transfer but he is definitely living here and I’ve been told by that by at least 5 people. It’s a last year thing so say all you want but it’s in the past at this point. I don’t want to start a long argument like on that Rio Pacific conference preview article that is on here but that’s my honest thoughts on this whole situation.
@Anonymous: Can you read? I wrote MIGHT stop not did stop. C’mon now chill.
@ERFan,
Were you at the game? It was as never stopped because of behavior. There were a lot of flags and montebello injuries, but it was most definitely not stopped and not even close to the extent of Downey/millikan. Exaggerate much?

Wow 😱 good job coach.
What’s going on with my Oilers?? We all know the answer. It’s the defense and the defense staff, especially the coordinator and his yelling antics. We had a nice pick 6. Outside of that we were consistently out of position. Kudos to El Rancho, they ran circles around our defense. At one point we were down 30+ points in the 3rd Quarter so don’t let the final score fool you. My former teammate the great Coach Macias has to be going through it right now. Coach Pete, please make the change, us true Oilers are pleading with you.
Last night was a hard game to watch. Tons of flags against El Rancho. Enough that I thought the refs might stop the game due to behavior issues as they did against the Milliken last week. That said Morrison was surely the man last night along with the cast that included the big receiver Centeno that had been missing the first couple of games. I am not sure what happened defensively other than the fact that coach was playing a lot of substitutes for game experience. ER could have easily scored 70 points but they just quite literally gave the ball away three or four times while on the way to touchdowns. They will have to play way more discipline ball if they have any chance against Los Altos next week.
If you’re at Paraclete in Lancaster, tell me how that makes sense unless you live in Lancaster like the rest of your recruits. So you are not embarrassed by these moves that Burbank makes
The Pioneer Titans continue their quest to make a deep, if not profound, playoff run by losing a close one to Kennedy, 35-0. This level of improvement means that one or more of Ortega’s kids are a lock to be honored this week by the NFF.
@Rise ..Rancho Alamitos is a far cry from Los Alamitos … they are D13-14 team from OC and even those results not pretty . Some dreams die hard
titans in good company and will be at their best for the playoffs? LOL? In which division (but do not get me totally wrong ! I would like to have a championship in the playoffs , even if my team just beat ‘school of the blind’
Still haven’t got your Pioneer boyfriend back that was taken from you huh? We scheduled up this season. We are in good company with Los Alimitos, Northview etc. Not to worry, we will be making another deep run come playoff time.
With all the talk about the better teams in our area, it’s time to make a quick check-in on a program that is known for great confidence combined with low achievement: the Pioneer Titans. The green ones lost to Santa Fe 48-7, followed by a 40-20 beating at the hands of La Quinta. Last week, the formerly rising group was taken down by Rancho Alamitos 48-7. Tonight, Ortega’s kids travel to Kennedy, the school named in honor of the slain President. Unfortunately for the locals, it’s Kennedy that probably going to be doing the assassinating this evening.
In keeping with our host’s optimistic approach to first-year head coaches, I’ll take this early rough going in stride, assuming that the pieces of the puzzle will come together in due time, and that things will be “fine.”
I don’t know how this happened, but star linebacker Aidan Dagher has returned to Burbank after supposedly transferring to Paraclete. It says non participation on the CIF website. I have no clue how this happened. It’s breaking news but a big story in my opinion.
